I do realize I've been neglecting this blog hardcore. It was a combination of not really knowing what to write about or how to do so and the fact that I've been a bit busy with life and e-life and other such things. But despair not, for I will continue to update this blog and I will attempt to do so more frequently.
So, my life right now? It's going pretty darn good, and I'm extremely grateful for that. Education-wise, Mathematics is still a spiteful bitch and I try to stay away from it as much as I can, but I do need to catch up on my Math grades, as expected, to be honest. The rest of my subjects are going pretty good, with History and English at the top right now; Both the Dutch equivalent of a B+, more or less. Not particularly because I'm good at them, they're just the easiest subjects when you have a mind like me. Why I really hope you don't, for your sake.
The rest is not exactly new and exciting; Same old, really. Still hanging with the same friends- Although I'm becoming increasingly more familiar with a girl called Laurien who's in most of my classes, and on whom I'm pretty sure aforemention Ryan feels something for, even though he keeps denying it. xD
E-life is fun as always. The Charmsians are going head-to-head again in the fourth game of Mafia- my third game, I'm really excited for January because it'll be time for Novel Writing Month- Fifty pages in thirty-one days. I will fail so, so, so hard. But it's a fun idea nonetheless.
More updates as they come~
LOL!-

I've Got The Music In Me- JK, Not Really
A music post! At this point, I feel like I'm just blatantly ripping off Tunduli. But she'll forgive me. I hope. Please do. </3
For starters; I like a lot of music genres. From classical musical to hardrock, from rap to hip gospel. The only genres I really don't like are classic gospel (Think singing in the non-hip Christian churches), hillbilly country/western, and mindless hardcore.
Instead of writing a long anecdote like I usually do- I have a knack for writing really long texts, and it's not always a good thing- I'll make a top three of my favourite bands ever/so far.
3; Stuck In Your Radio
A very young and not very well-know band, that was recently restarted but has yet to bring out any new songs. They make really, really good rock, with full-blown guitarworks and amazing beats, along with a unique mixture of styles and musical aspects in their songs. Also, the lead singer is SlyFoxHound! You seriously can't go wrong with that! Favourite Song; You Can't Two-Step in Midair.
2; Queen
If you don't like at least one Queen song, you're simply not human. I'm sorry, but that is just a fact.
What's to explain here, really? Freddie Mercury is one of the most amazing people to ever have walked the face of the planet, and the added harmony of the rest of the band made this whole into the most amazing non-fictional band to ever, with fantastic guitarsolo's and the catchiest beats in history, plus Freddie's singing. Favourite Song; Don't Stop Me Now.
1; Girls Dead Monster
pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
So much win.
The fictional band from my all-time favourite anime series; Girls Dead Monster. They. Are. Godly. The best guitar tunes I've ever heard- both rock and acoustic- Amazing singing, even though, it being a Japanese anime 'n all, I don't actually know what they're saying. I can't even elaborate on it any further because I'm always at a loss of words when describing them. Favourite Song; ALL OF 'EM.
Godly.
~~~
The above is a tilde wall, also known as a C-C-COMBO BREAKER. I use it a lot to divide up parts of my text. Get used to it. xD
Furthermore, as promised;
-OK Go
-The Hoosiers
-Maroon 5
-Razorlight
-My Chemical Romance
And some others I currently can't remember, which is a common problem for me.
Hope you enjoyed this extra tidbit. More on its way when my brain feels capable of writing it!
LOL!
My Education + Social Life
I was itching to write another post, but I hadn't the slightest idea what it should be about- Until my friend Tunduli provided me with a snappy subject, namely my school and friends. Again, capitalization and dramatic titles~
The first thing you should know about the Dutch educational system is weird and impractical as f*ck. Every educational system has its irks and flaws, but compared to the German and even the American educational system ours really is bad and has the tendency to try and ruin people's futures/crush their dreams.
So, the school in question is not half bad. Compared to others, anyway. It's one of the, er... I wouldn't exactly say fancier, but we're definitively of a higher quality then the other high schools in my town. We also aim at more international studies; We're the only school to offer bilingual courses, of which I took one for part of a year. Didn't last for very long due to mathematical reasons. |D
I'm currently doing a scientific course, Biochemistry-based. It's really good- Biology is my all-time favourite subject, followed by English. I've been told I have a knack for languages and I was originally planning to go for a language course- Dutch, English, French, German and maybe even Spanish- but Biology and Chemistry are just too much fun, dangit! xD
But, of course, mathematics are getting in the way. I need to get at least a 5 by the end of the year (For the record, our grading system is from 1 to 10, 1 being the lowest possible grade and 10 the highest.), which may not seem like much of an effort but it is and screw you if you think maths is easy. Except if you're someone I know/like who is reading this. (Pst, that's you, Tun!)
I'm taking none of you have ever had Dutch or German, and maybe not even French. Trust me, you're not missing anything. All three have insanely impractical and nonsensical grammar rules, which I suppose can be said of any language- But in this case, it really is true. Dutch is the worst out of all of them. You see, this is why I love English so much- It's got such amazingly simple grammar rules, IMO.
Now, onto my friends. There's about ten guys I usually hang around with in the breaks under the large main staircase, where we eat our lunch and generally have fun. Let's just say they have a rather unique sense of humour, one that involves loud screeching, rapping in random gibberish and the occasional playful violence. To be blunt, we're rather crazy. I love it.
Then there's a couple of other guys, but the one who stands out most is Ryan. He's a very friendly fellow that I sit next to in most of my classes (Note; We have no set groups in this fourth year. Every individual has a different schedule.), who is great for a laugh and really, really hates it when I tap a beat on my desk. Which, for a person with an amazing sense of rythm like me, is inevitable.
I guess that's it for tonight. Expect more in a day or so ^^
LOL!
Introduction- The Story Of Me
I like dramatic titles with lots of grammatically semi-correct capitalization.
I also like turtles.
So, yeah, how about an introduction? I'm a teenage lover of... Well, a whole load of stuff, really. The list of things I don't like is rather small, and mostly consists of certain people with certain personality traits, things that make my brain hurt- Read; Mathematics- Oh, and everything that tastes sour.
...Anyway.
One of my favourite hobbies is writing. I've been writing for over two year now, and I've climbed from being really bad at it to... Better, I guess? I'll probably post some excerpts from posts and biographies and let you, the reader, decide for yourself. I like the process of writing a lot; from a random idea to processing it, from the first sentence (Which is usually really hard for me.) to- Well, my stories usually don't reach past their first page. I'm working on that flaw, though.
Then there's reading. Personal favourites include Eragon, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and other mainstream teenage/young adult series, along with a whole list of crime/thriller and especially sci-fi/fantasy novels. I litteraly have bookcases and planks full of them, that have managed to not collapse so far.
Third on the list would probably be anime, something my dear friend Tunduli (http://sadforpudding.blogspot.com/) introduced me to. I started with K-On, then watched K-On season two, and after that another friend of mine introduced me to Angel Beats, which is still the most amazing anime series I've seen so far- With K-On on the number two-spot, definitely.
I'm not entirely sure why I started this blog, apart from the idea of sharing the more interesting aspects of my life in the hope someone will find it worthwhile and maybe, just maybe, learn a bit from it, in the same way I learn from others who share their life on the Internet. Just look at the famous commentators- SlyFoxHound, PaperBatVG, UberHaxorNova, to name a few-; They have greatly improved my life, sometimes by being philosophical, but most of the time just by succeeding to put a smile on my face. I'm still very thankful for that.
So, yeah! Expect irregular updating times and very nonsensical/seemingly absurd posts, for that is how my mind functions, or rather dysfunctions. I hope you like it so far, and if you're interested, stay tuned~
